I held a controller since I could walk. I was an often ostracized heavily for being on the nerdier side and socially awkward (maybe creepy to some), people didnt fully understand it--this also included my parents. One day I invited my mom to watch me play through a story-focused game because of her love of books and movies (specifically, Xenosaga). She loved it the whole way through and was eager to get me to play more to see the rest of the story, spanning to the rest of the trilogy. It was how we bonded as she started to finally understand video games by teaching her how they worked. For once my hobby and passion was validated.
Being a streamer brings back the same feeling of spending time with my mom, enjoying adventures and challenges while also learning new things; frankly I love teaching. Frankly, there is nothing else Id rather be. Welcome to the Academy!
